On-Line Personal Training

On-line personal training is designed to help you to learn the most effective way to train. I will help you to be your own trainer by providing you with current research articles, the latest fitness trends, and a program that is designed especially for you. Your fitness program will be based on a thorough assessment of your current fitness level, online postural analysis, health history and your fitness goals. You will receive a workout routine that you can do either in the privacy of your home or at your local gym. I, your very own personal trainer, will answer your e-mails and provide you with weekly assignments to ensure your success.

Each program is custom designed to meet your individual needs. I do not send any pre-made templates. If you are shopping around for other trainers, be sure to ask how they design your program. Some personal trainers use the same program for every client and can charge a lower online training rate since they are not spending much time on each individual client.

Personalized Fitness  Program
Your online personal training program consists of custom designed workouts e-mailed to your inbox. The printable workout program comes with instructional photos of every exercise and detailed written instructions that can be followed while you complete your workout.

After you complete your workout, you can log in to your online journal using your log in I.D.  The online journal allows you to update the results of your workout. You can keep track of your total calories burned, number of repetitions and sets that you performed and total calories consumed. This way I can check up on you and keep you accountable. Also, studies have shown that people that keep a written account of their calories consumed and burned tend to have better results adhering to their exercise program than those people that do not keep track.

1. Repetitions (Reps) - The number of times a movement of an exercise is completed.

2. Set(s) - A group of repetitions that are performed consecutively.

3. Rest - The amount of time between a set.

4. Fatigue - To the point which you cannot perform another rep with proper form.

5. Muscular Endurance - An enhanced ability of the targeted muscles to perform at a sub-maximal level for many repetitions or for an extended duration. A common example is what the muscles do during an aerobic workout such as walking.

6. Hypertrophy - increase in muscle size.

7. Muscular Strength - Amount of force that can be produced by a muscle or group of muscles (generally proportional to muscle size).

8. Flexibility - The ability of a joint to move through an optimum range of motion (ROM).
